New Vision, Values and Aims Announcement

I am delighted to announce the results of our consultation which has allowed us to decide on our new Vision, Values and Aims for the school.

Please watch this 2 minute video clip put together by the P7 captains announcing our results.  https://video.link/w/RAx0c

Thank you for all your contributions to the process which started back during lockdown and remote learning.

This work aims to help us create and maintain a positive ethos and identity for the school community which all parents, staff and pupils have helped to create and will play a part in establishing and maintaining.

Kirkmichael Primary School Vision, Values and Aims are:

Vision

Every Pupil Matters, Every Step Counts

Values

Respected, Included, Achieving

Aims

All staff and pupils are respected

All pupils are made to feel included.

All achievements are recognised and celebrated

These values and aims will be central to our activities and discussions around the school and will be promoted so that the children and staff know them well and strive to meet that vision and those values and aims in the day to day running of the school.

We will have branded posters and banners made for in the classrooms and the school gate.

Congratulations to Scarlet Andreozzi and Isobel Goodman, their badge designs were chosen by staff and pupils and they are combining their designs to create the new badge.

Thank you to staff, pupils and parents who voted on the new uniform colour.  The most popular choice was dark green sweatshirts and white polo shirts.

I have commissioned a graphic design of the badge to be created and we will then get the uniforms set up with our suppliers.

Thanks as always for your support.
